BioI keep a list of favorite words inside the front cover of my journal...or is it grrrnal? I'm a certified lifeguard as of yesterday, so I could rescue you (if I wanted to). I worked at Victoria's Secret for a few weeks as an experiment, and I kept a subversive feminist diary. I loathe the word "panties." I'm writing this with a cat passed out and purring on my lap. I moves in mysterious ways. I grew from an acorn.
I couldn't decide if I was jealous or surprised
or left out
I want it to be ok if I am boring, if I wear the same clothes
every day
I want it to be ok if I'm unspecial, if I am single
on New Year's Eve
I couldn't decide if I wanted my equal
or my polar opposite
I want it to be ok if I skirt the issue, if I am not
picture perfect
I want it to be ok if I am dirt poor, if I can't afford
to go to a movie
